"Wonderful Overnight Break"

This place was exactly what we were looking for. My girlfriend and I stayed here on the 2nd of January and our first impression of the place was how clean and homely it was. The entrance hall was warm and inviting and had the most wonderful aroma ( all of this a great relief from the weather). 

The host was incredibly welcoming and her constant focus was to ensure that we were having a great time. Not only the wonderful tea and scones upon arrival, but she booked our evening out in town, including taxis and an excellent dinner reservation - she could not have been more helpful! 

We stayed in The Heron room and it was spotless and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable I've ever slept in - I'd thoroughly recommend this room.

Although we had a lovely evening in the town, staying in the luxury rooms watching one of the many DVDs on offer was an equally inviting prospect. 

After a great nights sleep, we had the most amazing breakfast. The French toast with bacon and Brie was our favourite, but there was lots to choose from including fruits, croissants, and fresh juices. An overall wonderful experience, couldn't say one bad thing about it, we will be back for sure and recommend it wholly
